LEADING TECHNOLOGY

Heasley is the one and only course in the world that has both subair and hydronics systems installed all 18 holes.

HYDRONICS SYSTEM
This system increases or decreases the temperature of the soil using the cold or warm water circulating through tubes installed underground. The Hydronic system, decreases the soil temperature in summer to reduce disease and increases the sole temperature in winter to extend the growth period and thaw frozen soil. The reason August National is called "glass bead green" and it maintains the ideal green speed at all time is that it in stalled these system.

SUB-AIR SYSTEM
This is a system that inhales the air in the soil under the green or injects air into it through the drain pipe installed underground using separate air-generating facilities (vault) installed outside. The oxygen supplied to the soil under the green helps grass grow. It also prevents excessive moisture in the soil to enhance putting quality.
